These fizzy shots are a fun way to enjoy prosecco in boozy gummy form . They make a festive addition for any event – from an awards show gathering to a baby shower or a girl’s night. Cheers!

I was inspired to create this prosecco jello shot recipe for a couple reasons. First off, while I’m a little embarrassed to admit, my most popular blog post of all time (believe it or not!) is this prosecco jello shot post I shared when I first started the blog several years ago. Let’s say my photo and content style have evolved a bit since then so I felt the need to share an updated take on a simple and yummy prosecco jello shot that I could feel a bit more proud to showcase.

This version is a unique recipe I created based on a couple ways I enjoy drinking prosecco – with orange juice as a mimosa or with a raw sugar cube and bitters. You can get creative with your molds to create smaller “gummy” shapes or use your favorite shot glasses and ice cube trays for larger jello shot portions. No matter the size, these bite-sized spirits are a clever addition for your next event.

Here are just a few ways to serve them at your next party:

Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day

Include prosecco jello gummies on a dessert snack board piled high with fruit, chocolates, cookies and your favorite snacks.

Awards Show Viewing Party

Make your Oscars viewing party extra with these prosecco jello shots. Use decorated toothpicks and cocktail goblets for serving.

Bachelorette & Bridal Shower

Use festive molds or coordinating mini cups to serve up these cocktail gummies fitting of any bachelorette party or bridal shower.

I hope you enjoy this boozy prosecco jello shot recipe as much as I do. If you use it for an upcoming party, please let me know what you think!

XOXO,

Emily

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Prosecco
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (no pulp)
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 4-5 cubes pure cane sugar cubes
  • 4 drops bitters
  • 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • handful pure cane sugar cubes (optional)

Instructions

  • Spray molds with cooking spray. Mold ideas include: clear plastic cups, shot glasses, mini muffin tins and silicone ice cube trays.
  • In a small saucepan, mix orange juice with 3/4 cups of prosecco. Stir in the gelatin and let sit (2-3 minutes) until the gelatin softens and combines. Add sugar cubes.
  • Slowly warm the liquid over low heat for 3-5 minutes. (Do not let it boil).
  • Remove the liquid from stove and add remaining prosecco (3/4 cup), vodka and bitters.
  • Carefully pour liquid into desired molds (Pour liquid first into a glass measuring bowl with a spout for easy pouring). Refrigerate molds for about two hours (longer if molds are larger sizes).
  • When ready to serve and eat, remove gummies from molds and cut into bite-sized portions, if desired. Toss gummies in crushed pure cane sugar before serving.

Notes

Store gummies in an air tight container for 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
Please Note: Recipe yield based on this recipe made from 12 heart-shaped gummies and 48 small cubes. The number of jello shots or gummies made will vary depending on mold shape and size used.
