One of my fall wardrobe staples are knee-high boots. They are classic and so versatile paired with anything from jeans to dresses.
One of the first purchases I made after landing my “big girl” job out of college was a new pair of knee-high leather boots. Over the next ten plus years, those boots probably saw every street fest, happy hour, Loop corner and CTA line that exists in Chicago. I still have those boots, but I’m not sure repairing their soles (for yet another time) will help bring them back to their glory days.
While I’m not quite ready to part with those
memories boots, I was ready to give new boots a try. My friends at Jambu are known for making super comfortable boots for women and they were kind enough to gift me a pair of leather “Chai” boots for my review.
I adore how these “Chai” boots fit – like a glove – and are made of really soft, gorgeous Whiskey-hued leather (this boot is also available in black). They are sleek and modern, but made for walking through the city elements with its water resistant leather treatment, cozy memory foam footbed and rubber outsole (fun fact: the sole is made of partially recycled materials).
My fall “uniform” will look a little something like this: high-rise jeans, these leather boots, a knit sweater and a cape (like this black embroidered one) or a blazer.
Jambu has so many cute new boots and shoes for fall and I’m excited to show you how I’m wearing another style of their new boots in a post coming next week.
Do you have a favorite pair of leather boots that you can’t part with like me? I have a feeling my new “Chai” boots will become part of this group. 🙂
