A Cold Weather Essential: The New Boot You Need This Season (for less than $100)
*This post is sponsored by Jambu & Co.

Winter gave us an early preview here in Chicago which prompted me to dust off my cold weather essentials from the cedar storage closet: faux fur and wool coats, hats and mittens galore, and a pair of weather-ready boots.

Now let’s not confuse “weather-ready” with a practical snow boot. (snore) While function – e.g., water proof, tread details and warmth – is key, naturally, I like to invest in a quality boot that I can wear for years because they are also cute. In my opinion, there are plenty of boots out there that can help withstand a blizzard in style so why settle for one that only checks one of the boxes?

For years, I’ve been a fan of Jambu footwear for their versatility and comfort and style (from summer platforms to classic knee high boots) and their Redrock boots ankle boot will easily be my go-to boot for the winter. Here’s why:
- The faux shearling material is equal parts cozy and winter stylish.
- From a function standpoint, the rubber soles provide traction and the memory foam insoles make for a snug and cozy fit. Truly, they feel like you’re wearing extra warm slippers.
- While they come in classic and natural colors like tan, black and whiskey, I love the winter white of the “stone white.” Equally versatile as the other hues but with a little edge.
For $90, they are a steal compared to other quality and on-trend boots. P.S. You can save 20% off on any Jambu boots or shoe of choice with code STYLEDUJOUR19 until November 25!
What qualities do you look for in a winter boot?
XOXO,
Emily
